Timo Rantala

Senior Advisor

Timo is a senior advisor at Oaklins Finland. With 35 years of experience in the real estate sector as well as hotel and resort businesses, he has extensive expertise in investment, financing, fund businesses and real estate development. During his career, Timo has innovated and started various companies and alternative investment funds, including shopping malls, office spaces, land plots, care spaces, real estate development and debt financing.

Prior to joining Oaklins in 2023, Timo held various executive positions, including as CEO, in Finnish real estate companies. His most lengthy position was with Fennia Group, where he worked for more than 20 years. During this time, he was responsible for the real estate business and alternative investment funds of the group’s insurance companies. More recently, Timo has been advising various companies in their financing needs in both equity and debt. He also sits on the boards of companies in the real estate and hospitality sectors.
