Raphaël Petit

Managing Partner

Raphaël is a managing partner and co-founder of Oaklins France. He has been involved in corporate finance for about 20 years. Responsible for the aerospace, defense & security sector at Oaklins France, Raphaël has closed close to 40 transactions in this industry since 2015, including the sale of Mapaero to the Dutch group AkzoNobel, the sale of Syrlinks to Safran, the LBO of Everaxis (a carve-out of Cobham’s slip rings activities) with Naxicap Partners, the acquisition of Equip'Aero Industrie by Domusa Group and the acquisition of MARSS by listed Australian company EOS.

Prior to Oaklins, Raphaël worked for several years for Airbus Helicopters in Australia as the CFO of the “Australian Tiger” military helicopter project. On his return to France, he joined the private equity firm M Capital Partners, where he was head of the investors team. Raphaël is an aerospace engineer graduate from ISAE-Supaero and has an MSc in Strategic Management from HEC. He also has a private pilot license for light aircraft.
