Compagnie de la Seine has been acquired by Groupe Emeraude

Groupe Emeraude, a French hotel and casino operator, has acquired Compagnie de la Seine for an undisclosed consideration.

Founded in 2009, Compagnie de la Seine operates and owns a fleet of three river catering cruise ships (two operating regular passenger lines and one reserved for specific events) and a reception barge moored in Paris. Compagnie de la Seine has become the third largest player in the Parisian river tourism market.

Groupe Emeraude operates hotels and casinos within French territory, including eight casinos, three hotels under the brand name "Hôtel du Béryl", as well as spa resorts, restaurants, nightclubs and other leisure facilities.

Oaklins' team in France was mandated by Compagnie de la Seine's shareholders to find either an investor or a strategic acquiror and to manage the sale process.
