THERMOCOMPACT has acquired T.S.D.M.
THERMOCOMPACT, the French-listed company leader in coating and high technology wires, has acquired T.S.D.M., the France-based specialist in surface coating by nitriding. Financial details have not been disclosed.
THERMOCOMPACT, founded in 1913, has dedicated expertise in precious metal coating and high technology wire for EDM applications and fixed abrasive, highly technical engineered wires for photovoltaic, electronic and LED industries. THERMOCOMPACT has demonstrated continuous improvements in order to meet its industrial customers’ expectations in the automotive, aeronautics, space, connectors, medical and precision cutting sectors. These innovations have led to major products and processes improvements leading to optimum technical results in terms of performance and productivity.
Gilles Mollard, Director of THERMOCOMPACT, said: "This acquisition will allow us to expand our range of technological coatings in the aerospace, automotive and medical sectors. Our ambition is to continue the development of this new heat treatment business and to double the turnover of the technology coating division over the next five years."
Founded in 1983 and located in the French Ardennes, T.S.D.M. is a specialist in surface coating by nitriding and heat treatments under vacuum conditions. The company offers its customers competitive and high quality processes that increase their product's mechanical performance, reliability and longevity.
