Permira has acquired a majority stake in Exclusive Group

Permira, a global private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Exclusive Group, the leading global specialist in cybersecurity and cloud migration.

Permira is a European private equity firm advising the Permira Funds. The investment team identifies long term macro trends to back, across five key sectors: consumer, healthcare, financial services, industrials and technology. Since inception, the funds have secured circa US$40 billion of committed capital and backed more than 200 businesses.

Established in 2003 and headquartered in France, Exclusive Group is the largest and fastest growing specialist value added distributor of cybersecurity and cloud migration solutions in the world with 62 offices across five continents and presence in over 100 countries. With a channel-focused track record of high achievement and rapid success, Exclusive Group brings all the essential elements of a winning strategy for market entry and growth. The management team, led by CEO Olivier Breittmayer, will maintain a significant equity stake in the firm and continue to lead the company in their current roles.

Oaklins' team in France assisted Permira's team in order to achieve the leverage buyout of Exclusive Group.
