Oaklins supports shareholders of Emma Safety Footwear in its sale of a majority stake to Hultafors Group
Oaklins announces that Hultafors, wholly-owned by Swedish listed investment company Investment Latour, acquires an 80 percent stake in Emma Safety Footwear. Hultafors will gradually acquire 100 percent ownership by 2023.
Oaklins’ team in the Netherlands acted as exclusive M&A advisor to the shareholders of Daan Holding B.V., the Netherlands-based shareholder of Emma Safety Footwear.
Emma Safety Footwear is the Benelux market leader in manufacturing (customized) premium quality branded safety footwear and adjacent accessories for a range of industries, including logistics, oil & gas, chemical and construction. In addition, it offers third-party safety shoe manufacturing services in its own assembly plant and offers design, development & supply chain services to third parties. The company is headquartered in Kerkrade, the Netherlands, and has more than 100 employees.

Joining forces with Hultafors will enable Emma to strengthen its current market position and to further utilize the multiple attractive international growth opportunities the company has.
