Stibbe Management has sold Bloksma N.V. to GEA Group AG
The industrial holding company Stibbe Management has sold Bloksma B.V. to GEA Group AG.
Bloksma is an international operating company specialized in the production and development of heat exchange systems for the industrial market, such as those used in engines for marine, industrial and power generating purposes. The company has 160 employees and sales of US$30 million in 2007.
GEA Group is a global equipment and process technology provider for the food industry and a wide range of other industries.
Stibbe Management is a privately owned investment company specializing in buy-and-build strategies for industrial manufacturing companies worldwide. The firm invests in acquiring, restructuring and unleashing unrealized potential of small to mid-sized industrial companies. In 1995, Stibbe Management acquired Bloksma as part of its strategy to restructure and develop companies in the industrial sector.
