Samuel Vrbovský

Associate

Samuel is an associate at WOOD & Co., Oaklins’ member firm in the Czech Republic. He supports clients in various tasks related to the origination and execution of both sell-side and buy-side mandates, preparing industry analysis, financial modeling, evaluation documents and sales materials. He also assists clients in capital market transactions. Recent deals he has been involved in include the acquisition of Footshop, a premium streetwear retailer, for WOOD SPAC One, and an accelerated bookbuilding offering for the shareholders of COLTCZ, a leading small firearms producer.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Samuel worked as an investment analyst at Verdi Capital, a Czech asset manager, where he analyzed bonds and equities of publicly traded companies. He has a master’s degree in finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.
