Salmo Group has acquired SAENGER Top Tackle and Westline Angelgeräte
Salmo Group SIA, a Riga-based family-owned fishing products vendor, has acquired SAENGER Top Tackle GmbH and Westline Angelgeräte GmbH, German wholesale distributors of fishing tackle across Western Europe.
Salmo Group, together with its related entity Salmo SIA, is a family-owned business that has grown into one of the largest fishing products vendors in the Baltic States, with extensive operations across Eastern Europe. Headquartered in Riga, Latvia, the group distributes both its own brands — SALMO, Lucky John, NORFIN and Feeder Concept — as well as internationally recognized brands such as Sensas, Daiwa, Balzer, Meiho and Owner. In addition to wholesale distribution, the group operates a retail chain of 20 stores across the Baltics and CIS countries, complemented by a network of online stores.
SAENGER Top Tackle and Westline Angelgeräte are affiliated entities active in the wholesale distribution of fishing equipment and accessories. Based in Germany, the companies combine the distribution of selected third-party brands with the sale of proprietary products. With a strong focus on Western Europe — particularly Germany, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic — the group offers an extensive range of more than 9,000 SKUs. Its brand portfolio includes established labels such as Iron Claw, Anaconda, Saenger and Unicat.
