November 2025 — Clearfield, Inc. har sålt sitt dotterbolag Nestor Cables Oy.
Nestor Cables är en finländsk utvecklare och tillverkare av fiberoptiska lösningar med huvudkontor i Uleåborg. Företagets produktutbud omfattar fiber- och kopparkablar, mikrorör samt olika installations- och anslutningstillbehör som är utformade för krävande användnings- och installationsmiljöer. Kombinationen av starka finländska produktionsstandarder och en bred internationell kundbas runtom i Europa och utanför gör Nestor Cables till en pålitlig partner i byggandet av driftsäkra kommunikations- och telekommunikationsnät.
Clearfield, med huvudkontor i Minneapolis, designar, tillverkar och distribuerar produkter för hantering, skydd och leverans av fiberoptik i kommunikationsnät. Genom sin ‘fiber to anywhere’-plattform gör företaget det möjligt för tjänsteleverantörer, inklusive operatörer, kabel-TV-bolag, energibolag och kommuner, datacenter samt försvarssektorn, att bygga ut och skala sina fibernät på ett effektivt och ekonomiskt hållbart sätt.
