Soben Durai

Associate Director

Soben is an associate director in the M&A team at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He has worked on numerous buy- and sell-side transactions across various sectors, with a particular specialism in technology. He recently advised on the sale of FAI Automotive plc, one of the UK’s leading distributors of replacement automotive parts, to Motus, a South Africa headquartered automotive group.

Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Soben spent time in the M&A teams at both AGC Partners and GP Bullhound, working across a range of technology sub-sectors, including IoT, machine learning/AI and SaaS. He graduated with an MBA from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and has a finance degree from the University of Calgary.
