Arjen is a senior advisor at Oaklins Netherlands. He has more than 20 years of corporate finance and M&A experience, with a particular focus on the testing, inspection, certification & compliance (TICC) sector. He has also advised on deals in several other verticals within the business support services sector, such as technical services, logistics services, facility services, fire safety services and HR services. Recent transactions he has closed include the acquisition of the fire & gas business unit of Dräger by Unica, the sale of Caliber.global to Capital A, the sale of the continental European activities of SGI Compliance to Certania, the sale of CAG to Socotec, the sale of Advipro to Normec, the sale of Cairn Real Estate to Schroders, the acquisition of Fire Safety Holding by Unica, the sale of Kalsbeek to Normec, the sale of Marinetrans and BGL to Waterland, the acquisition of BTL by Idverde, the merger between Troostwijk Auctions and BVA Auctions, the acquisition of Nsecure by Unica, the sale of Unica to Triton and the sale of Qbit to Eurofins.

Before joining Oaklins Netherlands in 2008, Arjen worked for five years at another corporate finance firm focused on small cap advisory services. He has a master’s in business administration from the University of Groningen.
