Waterhouse Real Estate Inv. Oy har förvärvat UPM:s bostadsfastighetsportfölj
UPM-Asunnot Oy har sålt sin bostadsfastighetsportfölj till det dansk-finska fastighetsinvesteringsbolaget Waterhouse Real Estate Investment Oy för 91 miljoner amerikanska dollar.
Huvudägare i Waterhouse Real Estate Investment Oy är det danska fastighetsutvecklingsbolaget KE PROJECT A/S. Bolaget grundades 1993 och är verksamt i Danmark, Sverige och Sydafrika.
UPM-Asunnot Oy äger cirka 2 000 hyreslägenheter runt om i Finland. Lägenheterna är huvudsakligen belägna på orter där UPM har produktionsenheter, och de byggdes ursprungligen som tjänstebostäder. De flesta hyresgäster är dock inte anställda av UPM, vilket har lett till beslutet att sälja lägenheterna. Affären påverkar inte hyresförhållandena.
