April 2020 — Agent Select has completed a Series C US$2.2 million strategic funding round led by the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV). This supports Agent Select’s continued strategy of becoming a large-scale, integrated property services business providing a breadth of solutions to Australian property owners.

Using unique proprietary technology and a team of property service professionals, Agent Select provides independent guidance and choice to customers across Australia.

Our role in the transaction

Oaklins’ team in Australia acted as corporate advisor in this transaction.

“The partnership with RACV made tremendous sense, given the charters of both companies are predicated on service excellence, trust, independence and providing informed choice. Not only can Agent Select help RACV members navigate the complexities and costs of a property transaction, but we are strongly aligned on our strategic vision of providing an integrated suite of property services to homeowners across Australia.”

Moneybox’s employee share sale has set another milestone for London’s Private Securities Market

The London Stock Exchange’s Private Securities Market (PSM) continues to demonstrate its potential as a venue for providing shareholder liquidity in high-growth private companies. Following the successful employee share sale for autonomous driving pioneer Wayve earlier this month, fintech leader Moneybox has completed a US$61 million (£45 million) employee liquidity event through the PSM. By structuring the transaction as an employee liquidity event, long-serving employees with vested equity have been able to realize some of the value they helped create while enabling Moneybox to remain private and continue its growth journey. Crowdcube managed the employee seller and investor participation process.
