UPK has acquired the facility management and maintenance contract portfolio of PreZero Portugal, S.A., strengthening its position in the business support services market.
UPK has over 20 years of experience in industrial and building maintenance, supported by a team of more than 250 employees. This solid foundation has positioned the company as a leading player in commercial and office building maintenance, as well as facilities management.
PreZero is a leading company in Portugal’s environmental sector, with over 30 years of experience and 1,551 employees. It provides solutions in essential urban services, waste treatment, and the circular economy for both public and private clients and it offers sustainable solutions for urban, transport, social, and industrial projects.
Oaklins’ team in Portugal acted as the buy-side advisor to UPK in the acquisition of PreZero Portugal’s facility management and maintenance contracts.
