Equipment rental specialist Location de Beauce becomes part of the Sunbelt family
Location de Beauce has been acquired by Sunbelt Rentals, the Canadian division of Ashtead Group plc, as part of Sunbelt’s continued expansion in Québec and across Canada. The acquisition strengthens Sunbelt’s presence in Québec and supports its strategy of growing through the integration of well-established regional players with strong customer relationships and specialized equipment offerings.
Founded in 1975 and based in Saint-Georges, Québec, Location de Beauce is a privately owned equipment rental company. It operates branches in Saint-Georges and Breakeyville, offering a wide range of over 4,000 tools and equipment, including aerial work platforms, excavators, compaction equipment, scaffolding, concrete tools, pumps, generators and landscaping machinery.
Sunbelt Rentals is one of North America’s largest equipment rental companies, providing a broad range of construction, industrial and specialty equipment to commercial, industrial and municipal clients. A subsidiary of the UK-based Ashtead Group plc, Sunbelt operates an extensive branch network across Canada and the United States. The company pursues both organic growth and strategic acquisitions to expand its geographic footprint and service offerings.
