Native Communities has been acquired by Greystar Real Estate Partners
Build-to-rent landlord Greystar Real Estate Partners has acquired Native Communities, a living sector and mixed-use management company, from Ares Real Estate. This acquisition strengthens Greystar’s third-party property management capabilities, accelerating its strategy to scale operations across key European markets. The combined business is uniquely positioned to support clients from single assets to complex, multi-country portfolios.
Native Communities is one of the UK’s leading third-party residential and mixed-use operators. The company manages a portfolio of 37 assets, representing more than 9,500 homes across England, Scotland and Wales. It employs 177 on-site team members and a 47-person corporate team.
Greystar is a global leader in the investment, development and management of high-quality rental housing. Supported by a global team of more than 28,000 employees, Greystar’s cross-functional executive team has, on average, more than 23 years of industry experience and provides a diverse perspective throughout the investment process.
Ares Real Estate is a global investment manager. Its real estate team has extensive geographic, sector and structuring experience. The company employs approximately 700 investment and operating professionals across 44 offices in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.
