Hulcher has been acquired by Turnspire Capital Partners
August 2026 — Hulcher Services, Inc., a leading provider of specialized rail, industrial and infrastructure services across North America, has been acquired by Turnspire Capital Partners LLC. The partnership with Turnspire marks the next chapter in Hulcher’s growth, bringing together a proven operator of mission-critical infrastructure services with an investor committed to supporting the company’s people, capabilities and long-term development.
Founded in 1966, Hulcher is a leading provider of specialized rail, industrial and infrastructure services across North America. Through 28 service centers strategically located across the USA and Mexico, the company supports the maintenance, repair, recovery and emergency response needs of customers operating critical transportation and industrial assets. Hulcher serves all six North American Class I railroads, short-line and passenger rail operators and a diverse base of industrial and agricultural customers. Backed by nearly six decades of operating experience, a highly trained workforce and a specialized fleet of purpose-built equipment, Hulcher has earned a reputation as a trusted provider known for its rapid response capabilities, operational expertise and commitment to safety. Its broad service offering helps customers maintain safe, reliable and efficient operations across some of North America’s most critical rail and industrial infrastructure.
Turnspire invests in high-quality businesses that have reached strategic, financial or operational inflection points and can benefit from a hands-on, operationally focused approach. Turnspire focuses on creating value through operational improvements rather than financial leverage, with the aim of developing its portfolio companies into leaders in their respective industry niches. It supports growth through organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions, with an emphasis on safety, collaboration and transparency.
“Rail is critical to the industrial economy, and for six decades, Hulcher has been a trusted provider to operators, tending to the infrastructure that they simply cannot function without,” said Abel S. Osorio, managing partner at Turnspire. “That is exactly the kind of business Turnspire is built to support: essential, deeply embedded with customers and powered by a field organization that performs when it matters most. We are proud to partner with the Hulcher team to build on the legacy they have created.”
