Greg Passani

Associate Director

Greg is an associate director at Oaklins Intrepid, one of Oaklins’ US member firms. He works closely with entrepreneurs and management teams to learn their businesses and industries intimately in order to identify unique value attributes, barriers to entry, growth drivers and potential challenges. Key transactions he has worked on include the sale of VXi Corporation to GN Store Nord (CPSE:GN); the management buy-out of PCMC; the sale of SunBriteTV to SnapAV, a portfolio company of General Atlantic; the recapitalization of Marc Anthony Cosmetics by TA Associates; and the sale of Blue Microphones to The Riverside Company.

Greg joined the firm in 2012 directly after graduate school. Previously, he worked at OpenGate Capital, a middle-market private equity firm focusing on special situations and corporate carveouts in North America and Europe. He has an MA in Finance from The Robert Day School at Claremont McKenna College and a BA in Economics (cum laude) from UCLA. He is also a FINRA-registered representative.
