Kyle Berkman

Associate Director

Kyle is an associate director at Oaklins Intrepid, one of Oaklins’ US member firms. He works closely with entrepreneurs and management teams to learn their businesses and industries intimately in order to identify unique value attributes, barriers to entry, growth drivers and potential challenges. Key transactions he has worked on include the sale of Artisan Vehicle Systems to Sandvik AB (OM:SAND); the sale of Science Care to American Capital Equity; the sale of Autism Spectrum Therapies by Learn It Systems; the recapitalization of Lieberman Research Worldwide by Tailwind Capital; the sale of Ambry Genetics to Konica Minolta, Inc. (TSE:4902); the recapitalization of EagleRider by Main Post Partners; the recapitalization of C.F. Stinson by BV Investment Partners; and the sale of 9to5 Seating to Flokk AS, a portfolio company of Triton.

Kyle joined the firm in 2013 directly after graduate school. Previously, he worked at Macquarie Capital, an international investment bank based in Australia. He has an MBA in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Literature from Harvard College. He is also a FINRA-registered representative.
