WOOD & Company City – OPF has acquired CIB Rental
June 2026 — WOOD & Company City – OPF (open-ended fund) has acquired a 100% stake in CIB Rental, s.r.o. from CIB Group. The fund’s investment is focused on the revitalization of a fully leased residential area in Prague–Písnice, Czech Republic, a popular residential district comprising family houses and apartment buildings. The location benefits from a newly extended tram line, fast access to the Prague Ring Road and a future Metro Line D station. The investment strategy aims to enhance the value of the asset through a high-quality urban redevelopment concept, including its functional integration with the surrounding local community.
WOOD & Company City – OPF is an open-ended fund for qualified investors focused on residential real estate investments. Its strategy is based on the revitalization of existing residential assets, with value creation driven by high-quality urban planning, redevelopment and active asset management.
CIB Rental, s.r.o. owns and manages a residential real estate portfolio comprising approximately 760 apartments. Developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, these residential properties are located in the southern part of Prague.
CIB Group focuses on the leasing, management and development of its residential and office real estate portfolio. The group owns more than 1,300 apartments, representing approximately 80,000 square meters of residential floor area, and over 18,000 square meters of office space.

Swiss Estates has obtained a fairness opinion on a public tender offer by Kolumbus Group
Kolumbus Group AG has published a public tender offer for the registered shares and bearer participation certificates of Swiss Estates AG held by the public, as well as all unlisted registered shares not already held by Kolumbus Group. The offer, published on 22 July 2026, set a price of US$3.69 (CHF3.00) net in cash per listed equity security and US$0.36 (CHF0.30) net in cash per unlisted registered share. Following the successful completion of the offer, Kolumbus Group intends to delist the equity securities.
