Aksels is a senior analyst at Oaklins Baltics in Riga, supporting clients and senior advisors across the origination and execution of sell-side and buy-side mandates in a range of industries.

Before joining Oaklins in 2026, he worked as an M&A analyst at KPMG, with a focus on energy and infrastructure transactions as well as valuations of onshore wind farms, solar farms and BESS projects. Aksels has a BSc in Economics and Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
