Balticovo has acquired Babičkin dvor
July 2026 — Balticovo has acquired 100% of the shares in Babičkin dvor. The acquisition marks Balticovo’s direct entry into the Slovak market and establishes a platform for further growth in Central Europe. Balticovo is the largest producer of eggs and egg products in Northern Europe. With more than five decades of experience in the egg industry, the company keeps approximately 5 million laying hens, produces more than 1 billion eggs annually and exports to 20 countries, primarily within the European Union.

The company operates eight farms across southern Slovakia and supplies more than 110 million eggs annually to all major retail chains in the country.
