Laurens Wellens

Associate

Laurens is an associate at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium and a member of the corporate finance team. He is involved in the execution of M&A and ECM transactions across a broad range of industries.

Laurens joined the firm in 2026 following a successful internship in the corporate finance department. Prior to this, he gained relevant transaction experience through internships at M80, a Belgian private equity firm, and SDM Corporate Finance, an M&A boutique based in Antwerp. Laurens has a master’s degree in applied economics, with a major in corporate finance, from Solvay Business School, as well as a specialized master’s in financial management from Vlerick Business School, which included an exchange program at Imperial Business School in London.
