Allen Lane Consultancy Limited has been acquired by OUTSOURCING Inc.
The private shareholders of Allen Lane Consultancy Limited (ALC) have sold the company to OUTSOURCING Inc. Ben Kupsch and Doug Ingram, co-founders of ALC along with Ben Lane and James Allen, will continue to act in an oversight and advisory capacity in ALC post acquisition. Financial details have not been disclosed.
ALC is a boutique consultancy that specializes in the provision of managed accounting services, finance improvement expertise and change programme support to the central government. The company has continued to win work organically on the strength of its unique operating model.
OUTSOURCING Inc. is a Japanese multinational company headquartered in Tokyo and engaged in providing outsourcing services, worker dispatching and employment placement, and business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, with a presence in Japan, China, Indonesia, Australia, the UK and Belgium, among others.
Oaklins Cavendish, based in the UK, advised the seller in this transaction. Oaklins' team in Japan introduced OUTSOURCING and assisted throughout the sale process. This deal is another example of the seamless cooperation between Oaklins' teams, demonstrating the organization’s added value through its global execution capabilities, industry expertise and contacts. A specialist member of the team in the UK commented: “ALC has a unique managed service offering which allows it to deliver high value added services to the public sector. This greatly appealed to OUTSOURCING who are expanding their international reach in their recruitment and outsourcing businesses.
