Onza Entertainment has sold of a minority stake to Garbo Produzioni

Onza Entertainment, S.L.U. has sold a minority stake to Garbo Produzioni. With this transaction, Onza seeks to strengthen its growth in Europe, Latin America and other markets through joint content development with Garbo.

Onza Entertainment is dedicated to the production and distribution of fiction and entertainment audiovisual content and operates mainly in Spain, with a growing presence in Latin America and the USA. Its productions include the series El Ministerio del Tiempo (most awarded series with four seasons on TVE), Parot (MIPTV freshest fiction series of the year award, produced for Viacom and Amazon) and Pequeñas Coincidencias (First series produced in Spain for Amazon Prime Video).

Garbo Produzioni is an Italian audiovisual production company founded by one of the branches of the Bulgari family in 2017.

Oaklins’ team in Spain advised the shareholders of Onza on all aspects of the execution, negotiation and closing of the transaction.
