UVdata A/S has been acquired by Via Venture Partners A/S
Via Venture Partners A/S has, together with several key employees, acquired a 100% stake in UVdata A/S for an undisclosed consideration.
Over the last few years, UVdata has evolved from being a leading player in educational guidance products in Danish municipalities to assert itself in a broader sense in the municipal market and in the education sector. The firm provides software solutions for a wide range of public administration, schools and education centers.
Via Venture Partners invests in ICT growth companies ready to expand outside the Nordic region, but also supports seed and early stage ventures. They focus on mid-sized companies. Jan Gaardboe Jensen will continue as CEO under the new ownership and will work with the new board to continue to increase its footprint in the municipal market and in the education sector. Via Venture Partners has made this investment based on the assessment that UVdata has a strong position and will be part of the increased focus on the need for education among Danish youth.
Oaklins' team in Denmark advised the seller in this transaction.
