Springwell Veterinary Surgery has been transferred to an Employee Ownership Trust
October 2024 — Springwell Veterinary Surgery has become employee owned after transferring into an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).
Located in a purpose-built, modern facility in Tring, Hertfordshire, UK, Springwell Veterinary Surgery is a well-established and highly regarded small animal practice. The practice employs a team of approximately 25 staff members.
The shareholders have decided to transfer the company to an EOT, allowing employees to benefit from the future growth of the business. EOTs, created by the UK government in 2014, give business owners the opportunity to sell their shares to an employee-owned trust without incurring capital gains tax.
