PDC Wellness has sold Salon System to Professional Beauty Systems
May 2026 — PDC Wellness has successfully sold its Salon System and Just Wax brands to Professional Beauty Systems (PBS).
Salon System, an operating division of CVC-backed PDC Wellness, is a professional health and beauty platform that markets lash, brow and waxing solutions under the Salon System and Just Wax brands to B2B customers across the out-of-home beauty salon market. The business provides a range of treatment products spanning lash and brow tinting, lift and lamination, alongside a full waxing system including strip wax, hot wax, roller formats and accessories, and supports its customers through training and education initiatives.
PBS is a UK-based developer and manufacturer of professional hair and beauty products, specializing in research, development and production across skincare, haircare and personal care categories. The business provides end-to-end support from concept development through to manufacturing and product launch, serving both private label customers and its own portfolio of brands distributed globally.
PDC Wellness is a global manufacturer and distributor of wellness, personal care and beauty products, with a diversified portfolio spanning hair care, cosmetics, fragrance and bath and body categories. Backed by CVC Capital Partners, a leading global private equity investor with approximately US$220 billion in assets under management, the group operates a broad range of brands including Dr Teal’s, Cantu, Eylure and Elegant Touch, generating appeoximately US$674 million in revenue and distributing products across more than 80 countries and 100,000 retail outlets worldwide.
Our role in the transaction
