Adria Electronic has been acquired by VDA Telkonet
March 2026 — Adria Electronic d.o.o., a leading provider of smart hotel room management systems in Southeast Europe, has been acquired by VDA Group S.p.A., an Italian hospitality technology company and one of the world’s largest providers of guest room management systems (GRMS). The transaction was completed in two stages, with VDA Group initially acquiring a 70% stake in the company, followed by the acquisition of the remaining 30%, resulting in full ownership of Adria Electronic.
Adria Electronic is a technology company headquartered in Rijeka, Croatia, specializing in the development, manufacture and implementation of smart hotel room management systems. Its flagship ADRIA system integrates access control, temperature and lighting management, occupancy detection and the monitoring of common areas in hotels, resorts, campsites and public institutions.
VDA Group is an Italian technology company founded in 1980 and headquartered in Pordenone, Italy, specializing in the development and manufacture of GRMS for the global hospitality market. The company’s solutions include room automation, interactive television systems, access control, energy management and internet of things (IoT) connectivity for hotels, resorts and other accommodation facilities worldwide.
