Geert Damman

Director

Geert is a director at Oaklins Debt Advisory, part of Oaklins Netherlands, where he focuses on private equity. With over 12 years of (wholesale) banking experience, he has a broad understanding of both leveraged finance and corporate banking in the Netherlands and abroad. Geert has worked across a wide range of sectors and debt instruments, and has structured and executed bilateral, club-deal, syndicated and high yield financing solutions. Notable transactions include the public to private financing of Hunter Douglas by 3G Capital, the refinancing of KKR-owned Roompot Group to support the acquisition of Landal GreenParks and the acquisitions of the Quality Group and Sunday Natural by CVC Capital Partners.
 
Prior to joining Oaklins in 2024, Geert worked as a relationship manager at Rabobank in the leveraged lending team and in the domestic and international financial restructuring and recovery (FR&R) teams. He has a master’s degree in real estate management & development from Technical University, Eindhoven, and an Executive MBA from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
