Thorben Hinderks

Associate Director

Thorben is an associate director at Oaklins Germany, focusing on industrials, business services and consumer & retail. He advises on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions on both the buy-side and the sell-side, with particular experience in facility management and technical building services. In addition, Thorben leads Oaklins Germany’s activities in the sports, hobbies and lifestyle sector. During his time at Oaklins, Thorben has advised on several transactions, including the acquisition of Heber GmbH by Mark Climate Technology and its majority shareholder Bolster Investment Partners, as well as the sale of LISEGA SE to BUHLMANN RFS GmbH & Co. KG. He was also involved in the sale of Bockholdt GmbH & Co. KG to STRABAG.

Before joining Oaklins Germany, Thorben gained experience in corporate finance at an auditing and consulting firm, as well as in investment banking. During his master's studies, he collaborated with Prof. Dr. Seppelfricke on academic publications covering business valuation. Thorben has a bachelor's degree in international business administration and a master's degree in controlling and finance, both from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
