Oasis Infrastructure has secured debt financing from Axis Finance
March 2025 — Oasis Infrastructure Private Limited (OIPL) has raised debt financing from Axis Finance Limited to fund the acquisition of fleet for deployment in its leasing activities.
Incorporated in 2003, OIPL is one of India’s leading heavy construction equipment rental service providers. The company operates a fleet of over 100 cranes, including crawler, telescopic and lattice boom cranes with capacities ranging from 20 to 700 tons, along with supporting ancillary equipment. OIPL serves a diverse range of industries, including metro projects, oil and gas, cement, wind power, ports, roads and bridges and pipelines.
Our role in the transaction
Oaklins’ team in India advised OIPL in this transaction. The financing was secured based on the company’s cash flows and balance sheet strength and was raised against the future deployment of the cranes. The cranes purchased served as collateral, with no additional collateral required. The longer-tenure debt also addressed the group’s asset-liability mismatch.
