Hubtown has secured structured debt financing
March 2026 — Hubtown Limited has secured structured debt financing for a project being developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. Under the concession, the developer is required to construct government infrastructure in order to unlock development rights for the free-sale component. However, insufficient liquidity to fund the required regulatory approvals had stalled the project’s progress. The transaction therefore required careful structuring of the legal and capital structure, alongside extensive commercial due diligence covering construction costs, saleability within the micro-market and other key considerations.
Hubtown Limited is a real estate development company primarily focused on the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The company implements projects directly and through subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures. Hubtown Group has developed approximately 14 million square feet to date. Its pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects comprises approximately 20 million square feet of saleable area over the next five to six years.
