Lemvig Biogasanlæg has been acquired by BioticNRG
June 2026 — BioticNRG has acquired Lemvig Biogasanlæg A.M.B.A. in a transaction that expands its presence in the biogas sector and establishes a strategic platform for further growth in the Danish renewable energy market. The acquisition supports the continued development of Lemvig Biogasanlæg while strengthening the production of green gas in Denmark.
Lemvig Biogasanlæg is a well-established biogas plant located in western Denmark, processing a broad range of biomass feedstock and playing an important role in the local green transition. The plant has built strong relationships with local stakeholders and suppliers and has established itself as a key contributor to renewable energy production in the region.
BioticNRG is a specialist biogas platform managed by Palisade Real Assets on behalf of the Dutch pension fund APG. With more than 20 years of experience in the biogas sector and a portfolio of operating biogas plants in the UK, BioticNRG focuses on acquiring, operating and developing biogas plants and capabilities across selected European markets.
