Consolidating the cloud: M&A trends in Microsoft IT services integration

Technological ecosystems are the focus of Oaklins’ newest series of webinars, and we were honored to have Cecilia Flombaum of Microsoft join us to talk about the tech giant. Launched at the start of October, and hosted by Bart Delusinne, Frederik van der Schoot and Jan P. Hatje, of Oaklins Belgium, Netherlands and Germany, respectively, the aim of these webinars is to explore the impact of technological ecosystems in today’s world.

In each session, thought leaders and industry experts discuss trends, challenges and strategic developments, and how these ecosystems are changing companies and creating new growth opportunities.

The first event took a deep dive into Microsoft, with Cecilia, who has almost 25 years of experience in the company, talking about a range of topics with Jan, including the growth of private equity interest in MS and its Dynamics platform, the role of AI agents and what the future could hold for the MS ecosystem.

In addition, Frederik covered recent related deals where Oaklins acted as advisor, along with current market and valuation trends, while Bart provided an overview of the evolution of Microsoft ecosystem into a market leader.
