Bharal Développement (Difagri) has acquired Dietagro

April 2026 — Bharal Développement Group, comprising the Difagri and Alinova brands, has acquired Dietagro as part of its build-up strategy to expand its industrial capabilities and further diversify its expertise across animal species and dosage forms.

Bharal Développement is a Vendée-based group specializing in nutritional supplements for livestock, formed around Difagri by FrenchFood Capital. The group brings together Difagri, which designs, manufactures and markets complementary feed for farm animals, particularly ruminants, and Alinova, a specialist in monogastric nutrition that joined the group in 2025.

Dietagro is a Mayenne-based company specializing in the design, manufacture and distribution of feed additives, flavoring substances, premixes and nutritional supplements for livestock, primarily formulated from plants and plant extracts. Leveraging its liquid and powder production facilities, the company develops tailor-made solutions for all animal species, particularly swine, ruminants, poultry and equine, in response to evolving requirements in animal nutrition and health.
