Christian Tour has completed an IPO on the Bucharest Stock Exchange
June 2026 — Christian Tour, one of Romania’s leading integrated travel and tourism groups, has successfully completed an initial public offering (IPO) and listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), becoming the first tour operator admitted to trading on BVB’s Regulated Market. The offering raised approximately US$33 million and attracted strong demand from institutional and retail investors, reaching a subscription level of 121%. This demonstrates strong investor confidence in Christian Tour’s business model, brand recognition and growth prospects. The capital raised will support the company’s next stage of growth, focused on digital transformation, organic expansion and consolidation of the highly fragmented tourism market through selective acquisitions.
Founded in 1997, Christian Tour has evolved from a local travel agency into a fully integrated travel platform operating across multiple segments of the tourism value chain. Its services include tour operations, holiday packages, charter flights, travel agency services, corporate travel solutions and other travel-related offerings for leisure and business customers. The company operates the largest travel agency network in Romania, with 63 branches nationwide, and serves more than 365,000 travelers annually through a combination of physical distribution channels and digital platforms. Christian Tour generates revenue primarily from the sale of tourism packages and related travel services, serving a broad customer base spanning individual consumers, families and corporate clients. It has established a strong market presence supported by an extensive distribution network, a recognized brand and a diversified service offering.
