Associate

Sam is an associate in the M&A team at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He has worked on a range of sell-side and buy-side mandates across numerous sectors, but has typically focused on healthcare and business services. Recent notable M&A transactions he has advised on include the sale of Sava Technology to Omni.

Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Sam worked at Deloitte across M&A and debt advisory. In the M&A team, he was involved in multiple buy-side and sell-side transactions, primarily in the healthcare sector. In the debt advisory team, he worked on a number of debt raises, refinancings and lender education processes, working mostly with private equity-owned companies. Sam graduated from the University of Surrey in 2016 with a BSc in Mathematics. He has passed all three CFA exams, completing CFA Level III in 2024.
