Derk Verheul

Director

Derk is a director at Oaklins Netherlands, where he leads the sports sector team. He is also part of Oaklins’ consumer team. Derk has a lot of experience in advising an array of clients, including family businesses, corporates and private equity firms, across numerous cross-border and local transactions. His extensive expertise spans various sectors, such as sports, TICC, consumer goods, horticulture and (renewable) energy. Notable M&A transactions he has worked on include the sales of Naish to Kubus Sports, Trust to Egeria, Simadan to Parcom Capital and HSO to The Carlyle Group.

Derk joined Oaklins Netherlands in 2017 following the completion of his master’s degree in finance from the University of Groningen.
