Three companies have merged to form Berry Gardens

February 2007 — The boards of KG Growers Limited, Driscoll Strawberry Associates, Inc. and Alconera SAT have announced their intention to merge their European sales, marketing and breeding activities into a new business. The merger has been completed, following the acquisition of KG Fruits Limited, Alconeras UK Limited, Berry Alliance B.V. and Driscoll European Genetics BV by Berry Gardens B.V., a new company formed for the purpose.

The new group will trade under the Berry Gardens name and will market and breed berry varieties for the benefit of the European market.
