Composite Engineering, Inc. has been acquired by Kratos Defense & Sec. Sol. Inc.
June 2012 — The private shareholders of Composite Engineering, Inc. (CEi) have sold the company to Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. for an undisclosed consideration.
CEi is a prime contractor that specializes in the design, manufacture, test and operation of aerial target drones, unmanned systems and composite structures. CEi’s customer base includes: the US. Air Force, US Navy, US Army and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, along with a growing portfolio of foreign militaries and is the recognized global leader in providing high performance and threat representative aerial target drones.
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is a specialized national security technology business providing mission critical products, services and solutions for United States National Security priorities. Kratos’ core capabilities are sophisticated engineering, manufacturing and system integration offerings for national security platforms and programs. Areas of expertise include C5ISR, satellite communication systems, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, missile defense, cyber warfare, cyber security, information assurance and critical infrastructure security.
