Special Devices, Inc.’s Defense & Aerospace (D&A) Business Unit is a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of highly-engineered pyrotechnic products.
Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBA&D) is a producer of diversified energetic systems for the US government and foreign militaries, as well as a subcontractor to many US primes.

Consideration consists of an upfront cash payment of US$36 million plus contingent consideration of up to US$160 million payable over time, based on new MARSS contract orders secured during the earnout period.
