June 2021 — The shareholders of Childers Roofing & Sheet Metal have sold the company to Tecta America.
Childers Roofing & Sheet Metal is a southeast USA-based, professionally managed provider of roofing services to commercial, institutional and government clients. The company serves a variety of customers, including private schools and colleges, churches, healthcare facilities, general contractors, architects, engineers and industrial facilities.
Based in Rosemont, Illinois, Tecta America is the leading national commercial roofing company in the USA. Its services include installation, replacement, new construction, repairs, disaster response, portfolio management and advanced sustainability options.
Our role in the transaction
Oaklins’ team in Jacksonville acted as the lead advisor to the seller and the management of Childers Roofing & Sheet Metal in the preparation of the sale process and due diligence, the approach and parallel negotiations with potential buyers, and assisted them until closing.
