Principal

Phil is a principal at Oaklins Heritage in Jacksonville, specializing in advising automotive dealership owners on comprehensive exit strategies, as well as facilitating and evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions. His expertise spans all facets of automotive dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, finance, accounting and overall business management. 
 
Prior to joining Oaklins Heritage in 2026, Phil was a managing partner and day-to-day operator at Subaru of Jacksonville, one of the nation’s most recognized Subaru retailers. Under his 15 years of leadership, the organization achieved record-setting performance across sales and service while earning multiple industry accolades, such as the prestigious Subaru of America Retailer of the Year award. Phil also built his reputation as an industry leader through his service on the Jacksonville Automobile Dealers Association board. He is a 2019 graduate of the National Automobile Dealers Association Academy. Phil has been individually recognized for his leadership and industry contributions, for example by Automotive News’ 40 Under 40, and he is a two-time recipient of Subaru of America’s “Heart In Hand” Award.
