Associate

Uvis is an associate at Oaklins Baltics in Riga. He advises clients on M&A sell-side and buy-side transactions across a diverse range of industries, including food production and industrial and specialized manufacturing. Most recently, he advised Agrova International, a European poultry and agri-foods group headquartered in Riga, on the acquisition of UK-based egg production and distribution company Sunrise Eggs. Other transactions include advising incoming investors, comprising Valpro’s existing shareholders and East Metal’s local management team, on the management buy-out (MBO) of East Metal.

Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Uvis worked at a Big Four firm as a consultant, focusing on M&A deals and due diligence projects, as well as at corporate finance and investment advisory firm Callidus Capital. He has a BSc in Economics and Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
