Citygreen Gartengestaltung GmbH has been acquired by RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG
April 2019 — The private shareholders of Citygreen Gartengestaltung GmbH have sold the company to RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG and RWA Invest GmbH. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Located in Vienna, Citygreen Gartengestaltung is an independent Austrian specialist in hydroculture, gardening and rooftop and indoor landscaping. The company has revenues of US$5 million and a team of 20 employees.
RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria operates as a distributor of agricultural products, energy, technology and building materials. It was founded in 1993 as a cooperative, converted into a public limited company in 1997 and has been operating since 1998. The RWA group also offers a DIY megastore and garden center services.
