Moneybox’s employee share sale has set another milestone for London’s Private Securities Market
July 2026 — The London Stock Exchange’s Private Securities Market (PSM) continues to demonstrate its potential as a venue for providing shareholder liquidity in high-growth private companies. Following the successful employee share sale for autonomous driving pioneer Wayve earlier this month, fintech leader Moneybox has completed a US$61 million (£45 million) employee liquidity event through the PSM. By structuring the transaction as an employee liquidity event, long-serving employees with vested equity have been able to realize some of the value they helped create while enabling Moneybox to remain private and continue its growth journey. Crowdcube managed the employee seller and investor participation process.
Founded in 2016, Moneybox has grown into one of the UK’s leading digital wealth management platforms, helping more than 1.9 million customers save, invest, buy a home and prepare for retirement, with over US$31 billion (£23 billion) in assets under administration.
