Helmut Anninger

Managing Partner

Helmut is a managing partner at Oaklins Austria. He combines more than 20 years of corporate finance and general management experience, bridging deep M&A expertise with hands-on operational leadership. His areas of expertise include industrials, energy, packaging and consumer goods.

Prior to Oaklins, Helmut was a managing director at Tyrolit do Brasil (Swarovski Group), where he transformed a loss-making company into a profitable, dividend-paying business while achieving double-digit organic growth rates. He successfully led divestitures, evaluated acquisition opportunities, launched new product lines and delivered sustainable margin improvements. Before that, Helmut spent twelve years with KPMG Deal Advisory in Austria and the UK, progressing to senior manager and leading more than 50 national and cross-border buy-side, sell-side and carveout projects for corporates and private equity clients. Helmut studied business administration at the University of Graz and has an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. He is a native German speaker and fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
