Dezember 2017 — THERMOCOMPACT, der französische Marktführer für Edelmetallbeschichtungen und Hightech-Drähte, hat die Vermögenswerte der Diamond Materials Tech Inc. von der Meyer Burger AG erworben.
THERMOCOMPACT wurde 1913 gegründet und verfügt über spezielles Fachwissen in den Bereichen Edelmetallbeschichtung und Hightech-Drähte für EDM-Anwendungen sowie hochtechnische Drähte mit festem Abrieb für die Photovoltaik-, Elektronik- und LED-Industrie. Um den sich ständig ändernden Ansprüchen gerecht zu werden, ist THERMOCOMPACT in vielen Bereichen stets auf dem neuesten Stand (Automobilindustrie, Luftfahrttechnik, Weltraum, Steckverbindungen, Gesundheitsbereich, Präzisionsschneiden).
Diamond Materials entwickelt und produziert Technologien, Produkte und Verbrauchsmaterialien für Diamantdrahtanwendungen. Das Unternehmen bietet schneidharte kristalline Materialien für den Photovoltaik-, Optik- und Halbleitermarkt an. Das Unternehmen wurde 1963 gegründet und hat seinen Sitz in Colorado. Seit September 2009 ist Diamond Materials Tech Inc. eine Tochtergesellschaft der Meyer Burger Technology AG.
